Product and model updates from OpenAI / Anthropic / Google, with a focus on security-relevant items. This issue was assembled mainly from web search (vendor HTML/RSS could not be fetched directly due to sandbox / WebFetch provenance limits).

OpenAI

  • Sustained momentum in June's wave of AI releases: OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and xAI all pushed new models/products in June 2026, with coding and agentic capability as the main battleground (Microsoft and Google are also going head-to-head with Anthropic/OpenAI on coding models). Sources: CNBC, Superhuman.
  • OpenAI Safety Bug Bounty (run on Bugcrowd, ongoing): annual pool of roughly $1M, covering prompt injection, guardrail jailbreaks, agentic/MCP risks, and the OWASP LLM Top 10.

Anthropic

  • Claude Fable 5 released (2026-06-09): adds a 1M-token context window, priced at $10/M input and $50/M output. Sources: llm-stats, WaveSpeed.
  • AI agent security remains an industry focus — see AutoJack in this issue (AI browsing agent → host RCE), which highlights authentication and parameter-handling gaps across the agentic / MCP toolchain.

Google DeepMind / AI

  • Gemini 3.5 Pro nearing release: Sundar Pichai said to "give us another month," making it the Google launch most worth watching in June; Gemini 3.5 Flashalready reached GA at Google I/O on 5/19 ($1.50/$9.00 per M). Source: WaveSpeed.
  • AlphaEvolve expands: the Gemini-powered coding agent is broadening into genomics, quantum physics, mathematics, and business scenarios, with a 30% reduction in DNA sequencing error detection. Source: QverLabs.
  • Google AI VRP: base rewards of up to $30,000 for vulnerabilities in AI products (including Gemini); AI-related bounties totaled $890K across 2025. Source: BleepingComputer.
